Pamel@, the European Latin Mediterranean Arc Portal
The Latin Mediterranean Arc extends from the south of Spain to the south of Italy through the south of France and includes the Piemonte and Rhône-Alpes regions. The Arc is the meeting point between Europe and the Mediterranean. The objective of the Pamel@ project is to reflect on reality, on the challenges and the development of this area to ensure greater political and economic visibility.
The portal offers many tools for understanding the area:
- An interactive map system based on dynamic indicators focusing on various aspects: human, economics, living environment, transports, etc.
- A database presenting 256 company networks for facilitating contacts, exchanges and partnerships between European companies.
- Fact sheets on 18 regions and 90 provinces for evaluating and comparing economic performances.
- The essentially challenges of the Latin Mediterranean Arc to better understand the role of this areas within the European Union and the Mediterranean Basin.
- Experience of partners with examples of good practices in relation to major projects and local governance.
